This past weekend many of UK’s top drivers ventured up to Deerdale for Round 5 of the Winter series. This turned out to be very popular, with many top National drivers turning up, with the likes of Bloomfield, Truman, Reeves getting practice, as this track was to hold the first round of the 2015 BRCA Rallycross Championship.
Qualifying would see Graham ‘Sloppy’ Alsop dominate every round, and putting in the only 11 lapper of the day there to take overall TQ, with team mate John Holmes in 3rd. The 20 minute A-final would see a pile up on the first corner, allowing the top 3 to pull away. Sloppy led from start to finish and was unchallenged. John Holmes and Bloomfield would fight for 2nd spot for the first 10 minutes, but Bloomfield managed to pull a gap to claim 2nd, with John 3rd.
